I appreciate you taking the time to read my book. So you know a heavy glimpse into my story, but here’s a better bit more. I took a lot of time off to publish this book and was able to spend every second of it with my dog, Shadow. I enjoy going on long hikes through the woods or along bodies of water with Shadow, who is a loyal companion. We love our road trips near and far. The picture on the back of this book is of him and I at our oasis in the mountains of North Carolina. It’s always a blessing to be here with him in tow. Nobody knows me here and still they smile and wave. The perfect country town to simply exhale in.
